This course is has been developed to help with the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports across all grade levels. PBIS techniques are designed to help promote a positive school environment that ultimately helps to support teaching positive teaching expectations, establish strategies geared towards reinforcing and supporting positive student behavior, actively engage students ion their education, helps to create a safe school/community setting as well as helping school personal to respond to negative student behavior. This course is based on the Guilford methodologies of PBIS.
This course is appropriate for both general education and special education teachers of students in grades K-12 and is worth 45 hours of professional development.
