It is a natural process for children to seek answers to questions in order to learn about the world around them. The objective of this course is to help educators utilize this natural curiosity in the school setting, across all curriculum areas, to promote meaningful learning in a fun and natural way. Using the "inquiry mindset", students and teachers will learn strategies to help them become more invested in the curriculum. The strategies presented are geared towards increasing student engagement and accelerating achievement, as well as facilitating learning to be more fun and student based.
This course is appropriate for both general education and special education teachers of students in grades K-12 and is worth 45 hours of professional development.
