Executive skills are necessary to help all of us plan, focus and follow instructions effectively. All students are different and so is their level of EF function. This course is designed to help teachers and teaching personal support students with executive function issues. By the end of the class, students will be able to: define what these issues are, create a more EF-smart classroom, support all levels of EF function issues, create a more EF-smart school, understand the role of specialists in the field and how to make personal changes in relation to executive function.
This course is appropriate for both general education and special education teachers of students in grades K-12 and is worth 45 hours of professional development.
